The hotel is located in the former home of the Count of Santa Marta, dating back to the 17th century. The house is part of the portal now called Hidalgo, the facade of the second floor is covered with bricks and Talavera tiles, typical of Puebla and famous throughout the world. On the facade you can still see the hole where the family's noble coat of arms was placed, currently topped by a tiled cross, also from Talavera.
